Job Summary

A growing medical device manufacturing team in Santa Clara is seeking a Medical Device Assembler for a temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who enjoy hands-on assembly work, clean-room production, quality-focused processes, and working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

This position offers a stable, structured environment with clear procedures, supportive team leadership, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in the medical device and biotechnology manufacturing field. Successful candidates will be dependable, quality-minded, adaptable, and comfortable performing precise, repetitive assembly tasks in a clean-room setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform medical device assembly in a clean-room manufacturing environment.
- Set up and operate production equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and complete required documentation accurately.
- Perform data collection and basic computer entry related to production activity.
- Conduct hand assembly, visual inspection, and use measuring equipment as needed.
- Adapt to movement between manufacturing teams, buildings, or facilities based on production needs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $24.50 per hour plus $2.40 shift differential, totaling $26.90 per hour.
- General salary range: $26 to $27 per hour.
- Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.
- Some variability in shift hours between buildings may be required.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Santa Clara, CA 95050.
- Background check and drug test required.
