Working under the guidance of senior technical staff, you will write TSQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load client data into MSSQL databases in Caselle-compatible formats. You will validate conversion accuracy, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with System Consultants and Project Managers to meet project deadlines. This is an ideal role for someone with foundational SQL skills who wants to build deep expertise in ERP data conversion.WHAT YOU'LL DOWrite TSQL queries and scripts to map and convert client data from existing sources into Caselle-compatible MSSQL database formatsExtract, transform, and load (ETL) customer data received in varying formats into structured MSSQL databasesValidate converted data against source records to ensure accuracy, integrity, and completenessAssist clients with Caselle data layouts and formats used in the conversion processTroubleshoot data corruption, missing data, and formatting issues in client source filesUtilize data mining and report-writing tools (e.g., Datawatch Monarch) to analyze and process client dataCollaborate with System Consultants and Project Managers to coordinate conversion milestones and meet deadlinesMaintain confidentiality of sensitive client data throughout the conversion processDocument conversion processes and contribute to building repeatable procedures and templatesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired1-3 years of experience working with TSQL, SQL Server, or relational databases in a professional settingFoundational understanding of ETL processes and data conversion conceptsAbility to read and write TSQL queries, joins, and basic stored proceduresStrong attention to detail-data accuracy is critical in this roleAbility to manage multiple conversion tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlinesClear communication skills-able to work with both technical and non-technical team membersProficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft OfficeAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)PreferredExposure to data conversion or migration projects in a software implementation contextFamiliarity with accounting, finance, or utility billing data structuresExperience with data mining or report-writing toolsKnowledge of municipal government or public sector data environmentsWHAT WE OFFERMission-Driven Work: Help local governments deliver better services to their communitiesFlexibility: Remote-eligible role with a collaborative team based in Provo, UTGrowth: Join a company investing in its next generation of products and expanding its market presenceComprehensive Benefits: Competitive compensation, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and professional development supportWork-Life Balance: Standard Monday-Friday schedule with minimal travel requirementsWORK ENVIRONMENTPrimarily office-based or remote role involving standard computer work.
