Front End Developer

We are currently seeking a front-end developer to join our marketing team. This position requires an experienced professional with a knack for creating engaging online experiences. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with the brand team to take visual designs from concept to reality. Optimize web pages and online assets for fast performance. Create landing page and HTML email templates for events and promotions. Act as your own QA resource, ensuring that all web pages are well tested and function as designed. Troubleshoot coding issues and implement bug fixes. Report to the marketing web development manager .

Requirements

• 3-4 years of extensive professional experience creating responsive web pages.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / jQuery
• Proficiency with CSS preprocessors, such as SASS
• Proficiency with automated task runners, such as Grunt and Gulp
• Proficiency with version control systems, such as GitBasic knowledge of Photoshop for image resizing, cropping, and optimization
• Comfort using the command line interface
• Basic understanding of UX principles and SEO Experience developing and testing HTML emails
• Strong adherence to coding standards and documentation
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for learning new tools and techniques and for knowledge sharing

Advantageous :

• Experience developing and customizing Drupal 7 / 8 themes
• Experience with React or Gatsby JS frameworks
• Experience developing user interfaces for ecommerce websites
• Experience working with web hosting platforms, such as Pantheon
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Hubspot, Marketo, and Pardot

Education Requirements :

• BS in Computer Science or comparable work experience
