Postal Assistant (PT)

We are looking for a PT Postal Assistant to help run our in store, contracted US Post Office. This position will assist postal customers with mailing packages, purchasing stamps, and providing customers with their shipping options and costs. Other duties include cleaning and maintaining a clean work area, filling and inventorying supplies on hand, ordering more supplies, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions, closing and balancing the cash drawer. Applicants must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at time and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be 18 years or older. Part Time 15-20 hours/week. Postal hours of operation are 10 am - 7 pm Monday - Friday and 10-3 on Saturdays. Closing duties will take approximately 30 minutes upon close each day. Applicants need to be available for work during these hours.
