  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with medical staff offices, supporting smooth provider onboarding.
  • Provides reporting and dashboards for leadership regarding privileging status, expirables, and risk indicators.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the medical staff services and credentialing functions.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred not required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in medical staff services, privileging, or credentialing required. Experience coordinating privileging across multiple hospitals and ASCs strongly preferred. Familiarity with Joint Commission, AAAHC, and CMS standards for privileging.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of facility privileging processes and requirements. Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage 200+ providers across 50+ facilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with physicians and facility medical staff offices. Proficiency in credentialing/privileging database systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive compliance matters with discretion.

Certification: CPCS or CPMSM preferred.
