E-Commerce Supervisor
The Supervisor for E-Commerce supports daily operations for the grocery delivery and/or pickup experience. This role serves as the foundation for E-Commerce leadership and requires a solution oriented, resilient team member ready to develop leadership skills across five critical areas: safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and team member engagement. This role will support the Associate Team Leader and Team Leader by ensuring Team Members follow established processes while maintaining safety and quality. Support productivity by monitoring shopper flow and operations to meet customer order times. Assist with Team Member onboarding and provide real-time guidance on the floor. Demonstrate proficiency in all E-Commerce duties including shopping, staging, and order fulfillment
Assist with Team Member onboarding by demonstrating proper shopping techniques, staging procedures, and quality standards
Monitor shopper flow and operations to support productivity targets and meet customer order times
Ensure Team Members follow safety and food safety protocols while maintaining organized staging areas and workspaces
Monitor order accuracy and quality standards through spot checks on staged orders, verifying product quality, substitutions, and packaging standards
Provide real-time guidance to Team Members on the floor to reinforce established processes
Support shift operations by reviewing forecasts, coordinating daily task delegation, and helping optimize Team Member deployment
Coordinate with other departments to maintain timely process flow for order fulfillment
Identify, resolve, and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment
Identify and report operational bottlenecks or process improvement opportunities to leadership
Maintain customer awareness by monitoring order times and communicating delays or issues to leadership
Assist customers and third-party vendors with questions about online orders, pickup procedures, and product availability
Support resolution of customer concerns by coordinating with Team Leadership and other departments
Monitor Team Member performance and escalate concerns or development needs to leadership
Communicate effectively with Team Members, leadership, and cross-functional partners
Maintain a positive work environment
Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology
Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols
Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership
The wage range for this position is $19.00-$30.20 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
