Job description

Implementation Specialist, Senior

The Implementation Specialist, Senior is responsible for client implementation launches and complex renewals, directly contributing to a high-quality onboarding and renewal experience for external partners. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Sales Analysis and Operations, this role focuses on the administrative and operational components of launches and renewals while serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The Implementation Specialist, Senior will be trained to support new client implementations and complex renewals across multiple product lines, including both self-funded and fully insured offerings, quality onboarding and renewal experience for external partners.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the creation and refinement of standard and custom implementation processes to meet the unique requirements of highly complex client implementations and renewals, often involving significant customization and innovative management approaches.
  • Develop comprehensive, client-specific project plans for complex deliverables, including those that require new process design or enhancements to existing workflows.
  • Drive implementation strategy and timeline development by facilitating client facing meetings (including Brokers, Client Groups, and HR teams) to ensure successful delivery of complex and customized solutions.
  • Post enrollment period, responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements such as modernizing client collateral and artifacts, optimization of internal enrollment processes, creation of improved performance measures, etc.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires experience in explaining complex concepts, ideas, and solutions for processes, products, and capabilities to a wide range of audiences
  • Requires employer group implementation experience in the health insurance industry
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new tools, software, and applications to develop new processes that improve performance and efficiency
  • Experience with Salesforce.com applications and Jira is a plus
