  • Provide staff recommendations for AFE operations, contingencies, and wartime requirements utilizing appropriate security practices and procedures.
  • Assist in the analysis of current policies, programs, and requirements as they apply to ACC and worldwide CAF operations and help develop solutions to increase effectiveness in support of warfighting COCOMs.
  • Assist in Command logistician efforts related to warehousing, procuring, sustaining flight equipment to support aviators. Assist HAF in developing strategic plans for management of AFE.
  • Assist with MAJCOM Flight Equipment forecasts such as the annual life sustaining equipment, Cartridge Activated Devices (CAD) / Propellant Activated Devices (PAD), Munitions, and Aircrew Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (ACBRN) forecast.
  • Provide CAF lead command roles with oversight of Platform Authorization 450 (AFE Systems). Coordinate change requests between units and Supply Chain Authorizations Squadron (SCOS).
  • Support field units by conducting Battlefield Airmen Resource System (BARs) training for users; managing system access and change requests for related information systems advocating for funding to create and maintain minimum stock levels; and coordinating field level requisition validations and approvals.

  • Recommend resolutions for warehouse management issues and coordinate with applicable parties to prepare for and implement approved changes.
  • Maintain Master Lesson Plans (MLPs) with relevant, accurate information.
  • Disseminate information on AFE technical issues, results of meetings, and conference findings to field specialists, senior enlisted leaders, and commanders.
  • Monitor Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) and utilize required security and safety procedures to prepare presentation documents needed to brief senior leaders, managers, and staff at all levels.
  • Perform unit posturing, Time Phase Force Deployment (TPFD), Mission Essential Taskings (METS) analysis and change requests, management of taskings within Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), DRRS, and the AEF Online Reclama Processing Tool (RPT) with HHQ to support readiness and employment of 575 ACC AFE personnel.

  • Utilize DPAS program to monitor, query, and complete AFE reports/forecasts and provide final products to supporting/requesting agencies.
