Logistics Specialist (In-Transit Visibility)

You'll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist (In-Transit Visibility) to support end-to-end tracking and status management of assets moving through logistics and transportation networks. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments in transit, maintaining accurate movement data, resolving exceptions, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. In DoD and government environments, the specialist will support in-transit visibility across the Defense Transportation System (DTS), helping ensure force and sustainment movements remain visible, traceable, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary onboarding liaison for interns and students, coordinating with various CFE staff to ensure students are fully integrated and resourced upon arrival to CFE.
  • Conduct professional communications with academic partners, students/interns, international organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings with partners, students/interns, international organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to students on program requirements and respond to inquiries and concerns.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain collaborations with program partners.
  • Maintain student files and records.
  • Analyze data and generate, support, and disseminate periodic (semester) reports.
  • Coordinate marketing and outreach as needed (e.g., website updates, brochure development, outreach to other institutions).
  • Coordinate, plan, and attend academic conferences.
  • Develop dissemination plans for academic products to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the intake of academic inquiries and applications through the CFE website, evaluate requests, and ensure timely communication.
  • Curate a list of strategic research topics to provide project options for incoming students.
  • Develop templates, spreadsheets, and collaborative/data management and information-sharing plans to support program operations.
  • Provide educational resources and program expertise to internal and external stakeholders, including student groups.

Qualifications Required:

  • Masters degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and synthesizing information, including writing and editing disaster management-related products.
  • 2+ years of experience accurately communicating DMHA content in Standard U.S. English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

This compensation range is specific to Hawaii and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,200-$155,400. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
