  • Collaborate closely, and foster excellent relationships with internal teams (Comms, Legal, Programming, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations, etc.) and external stakeholders (creative executives, advertising agencies, legal counsel) to ensure our department is effective and aligned with company objectives.
  • Conceptualize and lead projects that help the department operate more effectively.
  • Operate delay mechanism for live programming, including outside regular working hours.

  • Minimum one (1) year management experience preferred.
  • Must be willing and available to work some evening and weekend hours to meet operational needs.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a highly collaborative team player with the ability to think strategically and practically, use good judgment, analyze risk, and make quick decisions.
  • Must be able to separate personal beliefs and interests from content review requirements and apply NBCUniversal's policies to applicable content.
  • Must demonstrate respect for all and foster an equitable and inclusive environment.
  • Must possess a demonstrated ability to engage in difficult conversations as our work can require discussion of sensitive subjects appearing in content undergoing review.
  • A passion for television and an understanding of industry trends and developments.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Able to recognize and adapt to rapidly changing business needs and prioritize accordingly.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, negotiation and analytical thinking skills, and demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
