As a Revenue Analyst, you will support the monthly billing, revenue recognition, and month-end close processes for a portfolio of Epsilon clients. You will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Client Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with established policies and SOX controls, and timely resolution of billing and revenue-related inquiries. In this role, you will leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, drive solutions, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service.

Who You Are

You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership of outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes. You are organized, adaptable, and confident collaborating with stakeholders across the business to drive results.

What You'll Bring With You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, billing, revenue recognition, or financial operations.
  • Experience with revenue recognition, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

  • Process billing transactions and customer invoices accurately and timely.
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and analysis.
  • Determine and apply appropriate revenue recognition treatment and related accruals/deferrals.
  • Maintain and execute SOX controls and compliance procedures.
  • Process monthly reports and recurring data feeds.
  • Respond to and resolve billing, revenue, and reporting inquiries from clients and internal business partners.
  • Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes and solutions.
  • Support audits, special projects, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Why You Might Stand Out From Other Talent

  • Experience supporting revenue operations in a public company or SOX-compliant environment.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience working with large data sets and financial systems.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated success balancing accuracy, customer service, and urgency in a high-volume environment.
